> CNC Set Up Operator

Hiring for both 1st (5:30am - 1:30pm) and 2nd (3:30pm - 12:00am) Shifts

Requirements:

5 Years’ experience with the operation of:
  • Mori Seiki
  • Eurotech
  • Nakamura

Job Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible to operate CNC Lathe machines in order to run prototype jobs and production runs.
  • Must have the ability to set up operate 2 or more machines
  • Conduct proper inspection of first piece run and in process parts
  • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical blue prints with close tolerances
  • Must have the ability to maintain close tolerances (within .0001) tolerance
  • Have an understanding of machine tool accuracies, fixture offsets, and tool offsets
  • Knowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds, and tool life
  • Experience in utilizing all of the standard inspection tools
  • Experience working with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls

> CNC Machine Operator

> Operations Manager

Job Description

Analyze production and operational data and resolve operational issues in order to optimize the utilization of manufacturing resources and to maximize productivity and profitability.

Develop, implement and drive a continuous improvement philosophy throughout the manufacturing organization, including core competencies such as precision turning, soldering, brazing, coil winding, encapsulation, assembly, and testing.

Employ innovative production and problem solving techniques in order to increase performance, reduce costs, eliminate scrap and achieve the highest possible level of quality, while maintaining on-time delivery.

Establish and implement standards for the routine maintenance of machines and equipment to ensure longevity of use, operational performance and optimum utilization.

Directly participate in decisions related to staffing and employee performance evaluations, and provide workforce optimization and resource allocation for the manufacturing departments.

Assure compliance with and adherence to all Safety and OSHA regulations. 

Supervises 7 employees. 

<5% domestic/international travel required.

Essential Skills

Master’s degree in Industrial Technology and Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Mechanical Engineering, or related and 2 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer required.

Experience must have included the following:

Experience with electro-magnetic and electro-mechanical products involving CNC machining, assembly, plastic encapsulation, and coil winding;

Experience in programing and assist in the design of Automated Coil Winding equipment;

Experience with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining and electro-mechanical assembly;

Experience collaborating with engineering in new product development, product introductions and product roadmaps;

Experience with Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis implementation (PFMEA);

Admin Level in SAP by Design

OSHA Training.
